The Team
DAPPER BOSS:
Introducing Larissa; the mastermind behind all thing’s interiors, design, and home decor. Her Dapper journey began in 2016, where she worked alongside the former owner, then became the new owner of Dapper & Co in 2018. Whilst working her magic behind the scenes of day to day operations, you will often find her in store; offering home decor advice, stylizing displays to give you home inspiration (she likes to do this often, it’s her superpower) and sourcing high quality, unique products. She also has a knack for finding one off quirky pieces, another superpower!
DAPPER DAD:
When Gene is not working at his actual job, or at home feeding calves, herding sheep or reminding the Dapper Boss about budgets; you can find him in store. The unsung hero of our operation… being our go to handyman, hanger of artwork, numbers cruncher and lifter of many, many heavy things. Be sure to visit when he is in store, he is also an expert on Dad Jokes!
GEORGIA (GEE):
The Go-To Guru of all things gift related! You will find her in store during Christmas and other busier periods, or assisting the Dapper Boss in merchandising the store. Often people come into our shop completely stumped with what to buy someone else, then they spend some time with our guru and walk out of the store with what could be considered the best gift ever! World famous in Pukekohe for being a walking encyclopedia full of world history and useless facts. How many stores can say they provide products with a free history lesson?
SHANNON (SHAN):
Often hiding behind a camera or computer screen. The face behind our social media accounts, website, upcoming promotions and other marketing related administration. You may see her in store photographing products, and in the busier periods, assisting customers and gift wrapping. Shan is no expert on grammar, so at times, works alongside Gee…. our local encyclopedia, whom also doubles as a dictionary.
LI:
The Scottish edition of the Dapper business, and an honorary family member. Li has been with the team for just under a year and is a fabulous edition! Enjoy her infectious personality and cheerful accent whilst getting some top home decor tips.
DAPPER DOG (SCOUT):
Last, but certainly not least… Scout the Dapper Dog, a Catahoula Louisiana Leopard Dog X (we never heard of this breed before her either!). She was rescued from the SPCA Kawerau by Gee and now lives safely with her at Dapper HQ. Scout insisted on being included in the family business, so she is now the living embodiment of our Dapper Dog logo, and she just loves it!! At times we share Dapper Dog’s top product picks on our Instagram account. Follow us for upcoming trends and the odd cute photo of our Dapper Dog.
